Overview

The Lord Jesus Christ launched John Van Gelderen on a journey of personal revival more than 25 years ago. Declaring “the good news of the reviving life of Jesus” has become his central calling and full-time work. In more than 20 countries, God has used John to aid churches in corporate repentance, prayer, and revival. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biblical studies as well as a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology. He and his wife, Mary Lynn, a gifted vocalist, are based in Manchester, Michigan, where he has been the staff evangelist for Ann Harbor Baptist Church since 1998. Originally known as “Preach the Word Ministries,” he and his father together founded the preaching and publishing ministry he now leads, Revival Focus Ministries.
