Overview

One day while teaching at Indiana State University, Dr. Larry Guthrie was informed that his book publishing record was insufficient; he would be terminated. However, God had given Dr. Guthrie a keen understanding of the world of nature and a remarkable ability to capture the attention of multi-age audiences. As a former research assistant and writer for IBLP, he contributed to many publications including Character Sketches III and IV and the Eagle Story.  His work over the years has involved science, medicine, and history, bringing out for young people especially how the Creator's character is revealed in His creation. His writings have spread across the world, being read and enjoyed by millions of people, and today, his ministry continues with his daughter and son and law on their Wisconsin farm: Harvest Home Farm. He and his wife, Lois, have been married for over 40 years; they have two married children and seven grandchildren.
