Overview

It has been said that “often the thing that causes us to think that God is not at work in our life is the very work that God is doing.” Few of us would choose painful circumstances, but it’s often through hardship that God forges our character and reveals His purposes. The circumstances leading up to this particular Family Camp — which happens to be our 25th anniversary — have been incredibly difficult, but as we continue to take refuge in Christ, it has been perfect, for suffering draws us closer to His heart and His ways. “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him” (Psalm 18:30). It’s our hope that no matter what fears, discomforts, or discouragements may surround our families or our nation, we would allow it all to build our faith in His unchanging goodness and His unshakeable authority — for truly, His way is perfect.
