Overview

Like a modern-day Bach, God found in the well-exercised fingers of Rudy Atwood (1912 - 1992) a strong and unwavering catalyst for inspiring music that never erred from His ways. Inspired himself by the assurance of salvation and the boundlessness of the Good News, Rudy Atwood served energetically in the early days of religious broadcasting, taught piano accompaniment in college after college, and finished with excellence a career that spanned nearly every state in the Union, eventually settling with his wife Grace in Pasadena, California. Never resorting to easier methods, his excellent prose and stylistic techniques deepened the original power of the Gospel hymns he loved and brought heavenly sunshine to thousands of churches and homes.
