Overview

Esther Frye (1915-2011) served the Lord faithfully in Gospel Chalk Art for nearly seventy-five years. When He first asked her to use her talents for Him as a senior in high school the nation was reeling from the Great Depression and she dug potatoes to earn money for her chalk equipment. Her ministry continued with full force during World War II, outpaced the social revolution of the 1960's, and was still being conducted internationally when she had passed age 90. Today her passion is carried on by a new generation of chalk artists that she inspired by her wholehearted example of using the abilities He gives for His kingdom.
