Eternity

Overview

It’s easy to be overwhelmed by hardship and miss God’s greater purpose—we are in a spiritual battle for the souls of men. Our daily struggles echo into eternity as our quiet choices shape lives for generations: “Be not deceived… for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” —Galatians 6:7 This is both a warning and a promise. Even if we sow in tears, Psalm 126 encourages us that we will reap in joy. Therefore, do not lose heart. As we follow God’s perfect way—through blessing or suffering—we are investing in eternity, and we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. “Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” John 4:35
