Description

“He hath done all things well” (Mark 7:37). David Gibbs Jr. recounts the story of his mother’s impossible work, a nearly-unbelievable story about the way someone who couldn’t do anything did a great work in the kingdom. Her response to the dreaded disease of polio taught David the life lesson of giving thanks in everything and escaping what should be dreaded even more: murmuring and complaining. He conveys the power that flows from “the secret place of the Most High” in a message that will challenge and inspire you not only to be eternally thankful to an eternally good God but also to realize what He can do when we learn to cooperate with Him. He does all things well. He is all-powerful. He will make a way.

This has lifted my heart and brought tears to my eyes throughout this talk by Mr. Gibbs. What a delight to the spirit! I had been Thanking God for all things since I read about Merlin Crothers but, this expands my thanks and Praise to God to include giving glory to him by addding My God is all powerful and My God does all things well. I am excited to see the Lord’s hand throughout each day.

    Sincerely,
    Terrell

  4. Mr. Gibbs,

Very moving. . .”Lord, let me learn from this message to dwell with thanksgiving in the secret place of the most high. We are so blessed to be able to hear these words of testimony. Words to help us overcome the “bear hugs” of life.”

I have listened to you for years. . .first at an ACE Christian school convention in the early 80’s. After hearing you that first time, I think you were speaking on conviction vs preference, I knew you had a message I needed to hear. You are an inspiration.

    Blessings!

  5. I did not listen to this message today by chance. God wanted me to hear His message. While facing the trials before me I will choose to dwell in the secret place of the most High and give THANKS in everything. Thank you Lord for Mr. Gibbs testimony and for these trials I face! Amen.

  6. Our 14 yr. old daughter sent me an email a few weeks ago saying, “Wow!! Mom, you have to listen to this!”

Brother Gibbs, thank you very much for this message. We watched it together. Already, in such a short time, the Lord has allowed us to share it verbally with many people.

We’ve written the scriptures and posted them in our kitchen. HE does all things well. HE is all powerful.

Thank you for sharing your mother’s story. May the Lord richly bless you.

Praying to dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High, too ~
