Overview

Only the Lord knows how much of his life Mickey Bonner (1932? - 1997) spent in secret prayer. After receiving a doctorate and serving in many church offices, his understanding of the need for power in prayer resulted in the classic, "Prayer is Warfare," published in 1987. By age 65, he had written fourteen books, preached numerous times by radio and television, and spoken for more than two thousand meetings, seminars, and conferences. His last address was before 14,000 at the 1997 annual ATI Training Conference at the University of Tennessee. The date was June 5. For him it became graduation day into Glory. For his watching audience it became a special time to receive a double portion of the brokenness and fervency that characterized his life.
