Roger Helle grew up in a dysfunctional family. Immediately after high school, he joined the Marines and volunteered to go to Vietnam. Two tours of duty left Roger emotionally scarred, but it was his third tour that nearly cost him his life. Although Roger recovered physically, he bore severe mental and emotional wounds for many years. Speaking to a group of veterans and first responders, Roger shares the turning point in his life and how he found healing.
