Seedtime and Harvest
You are here
Description
For everything, there is a season. There is a time to plant and a time to reap the benefits–or consequences–of the seeds that were sown. Tom Harmon uses this metaphor of seedtime and harvest to drive home the urgency of establishing spiritual disciplines in the now, the necessity of actively sowing to the Spirit and not to the flesh. "Be not deceived; God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Galatians 6:7).
