This session follows up the analysis of auditory and visual weaknesses in mathematics and written expression. Whatever curriculum is being used, a child's understanding of math and grammar is linked to their use of these disciplines in everyday application. Tom Hunsberger emphasizes once again the distinction between visual and auitory skills in building an understanding of the order of operations for math, a useful vacabulary for writing, and a foundation for spelling.
