Description
Joseph and Debra Tan are homeschoolers in Malaysia. When Joseph first approached his wife about possibly homeschooling their two daughters, her initial response was an overwhelming, “No way!” Eventually, the Tans did begin homeschooling and joined ATI nine years ago. In a relaxed conversation with Bob Newhouse, they tell about the challenges they have had as well as how they as parents grew along with their daughters. Joseph shares how he and his wife came to realize that as the girls were growing up, their method of learning shifted from “curriculum to conversation.”
