Firsthand Faith
You are here
Description
Very few have come to Christ only by reading the Bible. For most, God used other people, such as our parents or a pastor, to help us to understand the Bible and to trust what it says about salvation. Joe Norvell calls this faith "secondhand faith." It is still faith but, sooner or later, if it is genuine, it should become firsthand faith! Pastor Norvell's analysis of John 4 admonishes young people to know Christ firsthand for themselves day by day and from generation to generation.
