As their nine children grew, Dan Pinkerton and his wife began noticing, as parents do, that no two were alike. Their interests ranged from midwifery and photography to missions and politics, counseling, business, animal care, and engraving glass with a Dremel. Gradually, they learned how Jesus Christ could bring focus to each family member. They became advocates for their sons and daughters by pointing first to His kingdom and character. Afterward came all the motivation, synergy, and well-rounded skill sets they needed for their life work.
