The motto he kept atop his Oval Office desk at that time applies to fathers, mothers, and young people at this present time! It read simply, “The buck stops here,” a reminder that each of us is responsible before God for our every choice. Like Truman, Pastor David Waller asks us not to pass the buck to others but make those hard decisions that guarantee God’s lasting peace.
