Overview

Ralph Meloon was seven years old when his dad, W.C. Meloon, founded Correct Craft in 1925. Soon Ralph was working the business with his dad. Ralph became a key part of the success of Correct Craft, including working through the Great Depression and playing an important role in the U.S. victory over Germany in WWII. He also was very involved in working through bankruptcy in the 1960’s and then developing innovations which have improved the water sports industry. Ralph's many positions at Correct Craft have included President, Executive Vice President, Treasurer, and Chairman of the Board. Known as a world traveler and incredibly outgoing, Ralph was the face of Correct Craft for many decades. He continues to live out his faith through work and truly believes “building boats to the glory of God” takes precedence over all other business philosophies.
