Overview

Rev. Anthony Burrus resides in Texas with his wife, Lula. His life story is told in his autobiography, Born to Lose, but Bound to Win. Anthony was born in the roaring twenties into a sharecropper’s family in the tiny Dust Bowl town of Castle, Oklahoma. As a young man struggling through junior college, he found that he was blessed with the unique "gift of languages." Over the years, he has learned and is able to converse in more than 30 languages. With his God-given gift, Reverend Burrus has ministered to thousands around the world as an "apostle of love" who knows no barriers. Once burdened with racial hatred and bitterness, he has seen victory in Jesus to overcome and professes love for both the rich and the poor, the young and the old, and the "red and yellow, black and white."
