Popularity and pluralism are idolized in our culture. Certainly God does want us to have an influence in our world, among our circles. But how exactly God prepares us for maximum influence is different than the way we would naturally think. As the Benham brothers know, inhaling is the first part of any exercise. Receiving precedes giving. Depth before breadth! Glean from their example a breath of fresh air when it comes to building a love for God that will never fail in the long run of genuine love outpoured to others.
